I was born in Toronto, live in Ottawa currently. I work with and love computers, and spent a good portion of my life studying them. I also don't know why that dictates that I spend the rest of my career following that passion.
I've always had a problem where I quickly get captivated and invest my time in learning everything about a new hobby, be it cars, machines, hardware, aviation, software, music, whatever. I'll probably never reach the edge of the bubble, but I don't want to stop trying.
I like seeing, eating in, and discovering new cultures and places. My personal hell is using my PTO on a gated resort area in a country I'll never discover. I was in Peru recently, joined by a close friend from university, where I spent 5 days, 80 km, and climbing 4600 m of altitude from the Salkantay Pass to reach Machu Picchu. I loved every second of it, and my best photos are in the top left of your screen (Alternating when you refresh). I'm feeling busy budgeting for my next trip :P
I love music, and make it sometimes. Mostly electronic, I've always loved festivals and still try my best to make my way over to them in Toronto or Montreal. I'm experimenting with Strudel, and my next side project is building on top of it! (Stay tuned)
Anyways, I have no 5-year plan, nor do I have reflections on why I chose the public sector and handcuffed myself to the pension. Maybe an exciting opportunity comes around and I flip the script on myself!
